UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee on the Diversity of Cultural Expressions
The ITI represents the ITI World Federation on the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee on the Diversity of Cultural Expressions. The Intergovernmental Committee works under the supervision of the Conference of Parties to promote and ensure the implementation of the Convention. Twenty-four States Parties from all regions of the world, elected by the Conference of Parties for a four-year term, meet annually to ensure that the implementation of the Convention remains relevant in an ever-changing world.
Culture Action Europe
The ITI acts as spokesperson for the European Secretariat of German cultural NGOs within Culture Action Europe (CAE). Culture Action Europe (CAE) is the largest European network of cultural networks, organisations, artists, activists, researchers and policy-makers. As the only cross-sectoral network, it brings together members and strategic partners from all areas of culture. Culture Action Europe is the political voice of the cultural sector in Europe and the go-to source for informed opinions and debates on arts and cultural policy.
ENICPA
The European Network of Information Centres for the Performing Arts (ENICPA) is a European network of experts in the field of information, documentation and collections relating to the performing arts. It provides a platform for collaboration among its members, for the exchange and transfer of knowledge, for the development of joint transnational projects in the field of information processing in the performing arts, and for the consolidation and networking of information on these topics.
On the Move (OTM)
On the Move is an information platform on artistic mobility as well as a network. Its network comprises more than 75 organisations – ranging from national funding bodies and other networks and information points to cultural centres. The network coordinates a number of working groups; these currently include the ‘Mobility Information Points’ (MIPs) group and the ‘Artists at Risk and Displaced Artists’ group.
IETM – International network for contemporary performing arts
IETM is one of the oldest and largest international cultural networks and represents the interests of over 500 organisations and individual professionals working in the field of contemporary performing arts worldwide.
European Festivals Association (EFA/EFFE)
The European Festivals Association (EFA) is an international network founded in 1952 that brings together over 100 festivals covering music, dance, theatre and other arts in around 40 countries. It promotes cooperation and the exchange of expertise between festivals through the implementation of the Festival Finder, an online directory of European festivals. ITI Germany acts as the German EFFE Hub for the EFA.

German Cultural Council
The German Cultural Council is the umbrella organisation for federal cultural associations and acts as a cultural policy interlocutor for the federal government, the Länder and the EU. Within this framework, the Council for the Performing Arts and Dance represents the artistic, political and social interests of the performing arts and dance.
National Coalition for Cultural Diversity
The National Coalition for Cultural Diversity is a civil society network of experts that has existed since 2004 under the auspices of the German National Commission for UNESCO to support the UNESCO Convention on the Diversity of Cultural Expressions.
Association of German Dance Archives
Since 2007, the Association of German Dance Archives (VDT) has set itself the task of raising public awareness of, and making accessible, the knowledge and diversity held within dance archives, and of working together to advocate for the needs of dance archivesand collections.
Berlin Theatre Archives Round Table
The Berlin Theatre Archives Round Table is a cultural policy forum for exchange, networking and raising awareness of Berlin’s theatrical heritage. It is coordinated by the ITI Centre Germany.
Initiative for the Archives of the Independent Performing Arts / Performing Archive
The Initiative for the Archives of the Independent Performing Arts is committed to developing an independent archival structure for the independent performing arts.
In addition, the ITI is a member of the Network for Cultural Education and Integration, the Performing Arts Fund, the Dramaturgical Society, German Dance Association and the Federal Association of Theatre Collections in Germany (TheSiD).
