In accordance with its statutes, the German ITI promotes mutual understanding among the world’s theatre cultures. It is committed to the freedom of artistic expression and to preserving and developing the cultural diversity of theatrical forms of expression and modes of production. In cooperation with other ITI centres and artistic partners, its range of activities includes information work, consulting, and organization.
