ITI Academy Week 2026
ITI Academy Week will take place during the THEATER DER WELT festival from 21 to 28 June 2026 in Chemnitz and Berlin.
The 12 fellows of ITI Academy Week 2026 are at the start of their artistic careers. During the week, they will attend performances and events at THEATER DER WELT, work alongside artists from the ITI Academy LABs, and discuss topics such as artistic freedom and censorship, practices of collective care, fair collaboration and decolonisation. In addition, they will reflect on questions of coexistence and relating to one another within collectives and across cultural boundaries. Understanding different perspectives, aesthetics and working methods plays a central role in this.
